(WFRV) – Evacuations are underway in the Weyauwega area due to severe weather and possible flooding.
The Weyauwega Area Fire Department posted on its Facebook page that due to the risk of dam failure in the upper Little Wolf River, they have started an evacuation detail. This is along the Wolf River, authorities said.

Authorities said residents who live on Guth Road, Kurth Drive, Deer Haven Road, Ona Pines Road and County Road F close to Gills Landing are in the threatened area.

Residents are asked to evacuate their residence and take important items with them.
Those who do not have a safe place to to go, the community center in Weyauwega City Hall is open.
