BELLEVUE, Wis. (WFRV) – Local police were looking to build bonds and strengthen their relationships with members of the community at a free pizza event on Thursday.
The Village of Bellevue decided to host the ‘Pizza with Police’ event at the Village Hall with the hopes of allowing the residents of Bellevue to meet with and get to know their local police officers.
Fox River Trail celebrates 25 years with documentary screening
During the event, attendees could have free slices of pizza while also having the opportunity to speak with the officers and ask them questions.
It’s a more personal touch than national night out..that event gets more attention but this is more of a personal touch, a personal setting, that face-to-face interaction as opposed to that large event.

Multiple members of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office were on hand at Thursday’s event, as it is the Brown County Sheriff’s Office that provides policing services to the Village of Bellevue.
