The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
High pressure is in the forecast and will offer two great things Tuesday: sunshine and lighter winds. Unfortunately, we have some cool air around right now that will bring in well below normal temperatures this afternoon in the 30s and 40s. Coldest near Lake Michigan where highs are just above freezing later today.
Tonight, a wintry mix of snow, sleet and rain will work in well after midnight, and around sunrise Wednesday. This might bring a little sleet or snow accumulation in a few areas, especially in the grass, but some communities up across the north could have some slippery stretches on the roads.
That mixed precipitation transition to rain and will head out in the morning Wednesday, then it will be a warm and breezy afternoon in the 50s and 60s!
Following the warmer day, more rain will develop Wednesday night along a cold front with steady, moderate rain showers between 6pm and midnight. No severe weather or thunderstorms are anticipated at this time. 0.25″ to 0.50″ of rain accumulation is in the forecast for Wednesday.
