The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Good morning and Happy Easter Sunday! Area rivers are still running high across the area today, some reaching minor flood stage. Flood warnings are in effect until further notice.
We are starting off our day cloudy, breezy, and chilly, but plan on mid-day sunshine helping to warm us up. Winds will continue to gust up to 25-30 mph throughout the day as highs reach the upper 40s to low 50s.
Clouds will return later this afternoon ahead of a chance for a passing rain or snow shower after 6 p.m. this evening. Lows tonight will fall into the upper 20s to low and mid 30s.
Breezy and cool again tomorrow with highs in the mid to upper 30s to a round 40 degrees. There is a chance for a passing snow shower or flurry, but this will not be an accumulating snow.
Tuesday looks mostly sunny, but seasonally cool with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.
Interesting weather is expected on Wednesday. Snowy mix for the morning, then a strong breeze warms us up to the mid and upper 50s in the afternoon. Finally, rain showers arrive for the evening and overnight.
Dry and warm weather is expected for Thursday and Friday. Periods of rain are on the way for Saturday and Sunday.
