NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in Neenah say the police department’s drone program is continuing to support the City of Neenah and its community members.

According to the Neenah Police Department, the drones play a key role in keeping people safe as the technology is used to protect life and property, with the department’s certified drone pilots training year-round as a way to stay prepared.
In 2025, police say the drones were a very resourceful tool as they were deployed for various calls, including the following:
- Locating fleeing suspects.
- Locating potential victims for a reported crash on Interstate 41.
- Executing a drone search warrant regarding a theft case.
- Assisting agency calls for missing persons, searching buildings, etc.
- Demonstrations for the Citizens Police Academy and Neenah’s Night Out.
- Documentation of Arrowhead Park to assist the city with future planning.
