MANITOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) – A 42-year-old Manitowoc man was arrested after a SWAT team was called in to investigate a disturbance call on Sunday.
Officers with the Manitowoc Police Department say they responded to a disturbance call in the 5100 block of Expo Drive sometime on March 29.
Authorities had learned that a man had allegedly physically assaulted a woman, and during the alleged assault, a rifle was held near the suspect’s head, and a round was reportedly fired.
Multiple hospitalized in Neenah after medical episode causes crash into home
The Manitowoc County SWAT team was called in and made a tactical entry to the home, where they took the man into custody.
The 42-year-old man is being held on the following charges:
- Battery
- Reckless Endangering Safety
- Disorderly Conduct
- Strangulation
