The charges stem from a June 3, 2025 incident in which Ray fled from law enforcement through downtown Fond du Lac while under the influence of marijuana. Prosecutors said she endangered pedestrians and motorists as she sped down Main Street on a busy Friday night.
Authorities said the crash caused significant property damage, numerous injuries and ignited two vehicles.

Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney described the incident as extremely dangerous.
“This defendant caused significant property damage and injuries, with her vehicle becoming a missile down Main Street on a busy Friday night,” Toney said. “We are grateful nobody was killed and are appreciative of the quick response of the first responders and law enforcement. We hope this prison term of 14 years sends a clear message that felony eluding will never be tolerated in Fond du Lac County.”
