The Latest from Storm Team 5…
A weak system passing through the state will bring a chance for snow, rain or freezing drizzle as early as 8pm this evening, lasting through the early morning hours tomorrow. Snow amounts will be minimal (dusting to 1/2 an inch) but a glaze of ice is possible with this system. Drive with caution again tomorrow morning. Lows tonight will fall into the upper 20s and low 30s.
Temperatures will quickly rise above freezing during the mid morning hours tomorrow, limiting the slippery travel concern to just the early AM commute. The rest of our day looks mostly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 40s. Our snow melt begins!
Friday, with the snow melt underway, that will allow fog to form especially in the morning, but most of our day looks cloudy with highs in the mid 40s.
Beautiful day expected on Saturday with highs pushing into the 50s and 60s under a mix of sunshine and clouds.
A cold front will drop in Saturday night, bringing with it a light rain snow mix lasting into Sunday AM but more so a drop in highs to the upper 30s.
