According to a release from the Wisconsin Public Service, crews battled and worked through whiteout conditions, treacherous roads, and more than two feet of snow since early Sunday morning.

WPS reports that there are still nearly 600 total outages throughout the hardest hit communities in Door County that are not expected to have power back until Tuesday evening. Response times could still be delayed, as while the blizzard has ended, crews are still dealing with ice-covered roads and other snowy conditions.
All available crews will continue to work nonstop until power is fully restored. WPS appreciates its customers’ patience as it works quickly and safely to restore power.
