EDEN, Wis. (WFRV) – A 32-year-old Campbellsport man was arrested Thursday following a high-speed pursuit earlier this week that authorities say reached speeds of more than 100 miles per hour.
According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 9, when a deputy conducting radar enforcement on County Highway V in the Town of Eden observed a vehicle traveling well above the posted 55 mph speed limit.

When the deputy pulled out behind the vehicle, the driver — identified as Trevor J. Nolan of Campbellsport — allegedly accelerated to approximately 100 mph. The deputy activated emergency lights and siren in an attempt to initiate a traffic stop.
Authorities said Nolan failed to stop and continued at excessive speeds, passing other motorists in designated no-passing zones. He then abruptly turned onto Woodland Drive and later onto County Highway W.
As Nolan headed toward Campbellsport, the deputy terminated the pursuit in the interest of public safety, anticipating the driver would slow down upon entering the village.
Deputies later identified Nolan as the suspect and took him into custody March 12.

Nolan was booked into the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges of felony fleeing and eluding and felony bail jumping. Officials said he was out on bond at the time of the incident for possession of cocaine and possession of narcotic drugs, and he is currently on probation for fleeing and eluding.
The pursuit spanned nearly four miles. The investigation remains ongoing.
