(WFRV) – Two people are now in custody on drug-related charges following a traffic stop in Wisconsin early Thursday morning, authorities say.
According to a release from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop at 2:48 a.m. on County Road W in the Town of Scott.

During the stop, K9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle. Following a search of the vehicle, deputies recovered an unspecified amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia.
The driver of the vehicle, 56-year-old Matthew Murray from La Crosse, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance (2nd Offense), possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for driving with an expired driver’s license.

The passenger, 54-year-old Kelly Lamb, also from La Crosse, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both Murray and Lamb were booked into the Crawford County Jail.
