APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – With warmer weather in the forecast, Downtown Appleton’s Avenue of Ice Carvings event has been pushed back to Saturday.
Now beginning Saturday, February 21, at noon, officials with Appleton Downtown, Inc. say the adjustment was made to help preserve the integrity and longevity of the ice sculptures.
“By shifting the start date, organizers aim to extend the life of the carvings and enhance the overall experience for visitors,” the release noted.

Twenty-six ice sculptures will be featured throughout the downtown area, all celebrating this year’s theme, “Things We Love About Wisconsin.”
