APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – 14 of the area’s best high school actors and actresses gathered at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center (PAC) on Thursday night for a Center Stage High School Musical Theater special event—the Encore Singers Revue.
The free event kicked off at 6 p.m. with the students performing numbers from various musicals together, with backing by the Cornerstone Jazz Orchestra.

Each student participant auditioned for their spot through their participation in the Fox Cities PAC’s Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program.
“The program consists of opportunities to see all of the musicals that the high schools put on,” PAC President and CEO Maria Van Laanen said. “We provide constructive feedback and workshops throughout the year, all culminating in a Center Stage showcase.”
