APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in Appleton say they received a tip Monday morning regarding a possible bomb threat at the Appleton East High School.
According to a release from the Appleton Police Department, while no school was in session due to the President’s Day holiday, a small number of students and staff were inside the building at the time the tip came in.

Officers took the threat seriously and conducted a safety check of the building, ultimately determining the bomb threat to not be credible.
