APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – An Appleton resident who was wanted in Florida on a felony warrant for 100 counts related to the distribution of child pornography was arrested after a joint operation with the U.S. Marshal’s Service.
Authorities with the Appleton Police Department stated the investigation into Appleton resident Alec J. Rowley began in Polk County, Florida.
Rowley, 29, was arrested on Friday, February 13, at a residence in the 800 block of North Drew Street and was booked into the Outagamie County Jail. Rowley is awaiting extradition to Florida.
Officers noted that no evidence suggests any children in the Appleton area were victims during the incident.
