(WFRV) – A Brown County Sheriff’s Office Deputy was one of many first responders honored in the State Capitol this week after being nominated by a local representative.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook to honor Deputy Kowalski, who was a recipient of the First Responder of the Year award, along with numerous others in the state.
Dep. Kowalski was nominated by Representative Shae Sortwell (R-Two Rivers). All recipients were nominated by local state representatives.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department also received a nomination.
