The Air Quality Alert is still with us Thursday morning as thick Canadian wildfire smoke lingers near the ground in northeast Wisconsin. Please take proper precautions if you suffer from heart conditions or breathing problems. The alert is set to expire at noon, but it might not be until this evening that the smoke starts to thin out. We’ll keep you updated.
A smoke sky Thursday with mostly sunny conditions above the smoke. Comfortable temperatures again in the middle 70s. It might be a little breezy at times with NNE winds from 10 to 20 miles per hour.
Tonight, mainly clear and less smoky with a low of 53 degrees. That is 7 degrees cooler than our average nighttime low.
Friday will be very nice, possibly a little smoke in portions of the area. Sunshine and comfortable with a high of 78 degrees.
