Monday Night:
Usher struggled from the very beginning to eliminate a contestant. The first match-up seemed to be old school vs new school. Usher kept T.J. and eliminated Biff but Blake hit his button for the steal. Also for team Usher, Jake sang against Stevie Jo. Adam explained that he would take whoever Usher wouldn’t. The winner was Stevie Jo. Yet, both Shakira and Adam pushed buttons to steal, and eventually Blake pushed his as well! Jake picked to become a member of Adam’s team.
Blake had to pick between Paula and Sisaundra and he went with Sisaundra, his powerhouse singer! (she's very impressive!)
After some advice from The Band Perry, country-singes Lexi and Jake from Team Blake headed to the battle round… Jake would come out on top, sending Lexi home.
Shakira will be getting all the hints about Blake from Miranda this season!.. Dani and DeShawn battled each other for Team Shakira. Dani would win that round.
Rock-singer Kat won against Patrick for Team Adam… But luckily for him, Shakira pushed for a steal and will become a member of her team!
Tuesday Night:
Wisconsin girl, Megan won her battle around against pop-singer Ria, to stay on Team Blake.
Adam was disappointed with Delvin and Caleb’s rehearsal, but he was impressed with the performance that night. Adam would claim Delvin as the winner and Caleb was sent home.
Usher’s powerhouses, Melissa and Britnee, went head-to-head in a battle. I think it left every viewer blushing. The winner was Melissa… But Britnee won’t be going home. Adam and Shakira went for the steal. Britnee will be the new member of Team Adam. Usher also had duo, Brother Walkers against Indie-rocker, Morgan. The winner of the battle was Morgan.
Shakira’s rock artists, Clarissa and Jeremy were paired up. The winner was Clarissa. Also for Team Shakira, soul-artists Ddendyl was paired against pop-singer Lindsay. Shakira kept Ddendyl and Lindsay was sent home.
The big Snapchat secret is out.. Chris Martin from Coldplay will be the key adviser throughout the season. It seemed like more fans were excited about the new addition to the show but there were mixed reviews about The Voice delivering this information via Snapchat. (I personally agree)
