Welcome back Bob Costas!.. After several nights off, Costas returned to NBC Primetime.
Women’s hockey won against Sweden 6-1. They will play Thursday morning at 11am against Canada in a battle for gold! Going to be an awesome game! Hopefully we can show ’em what we have this time around!
Another big rivalry between USA and Canada is in figure skating. Tessa Virtue and Scott Moiror Canada are the reining gold medalist and ended taking silver in Sochi. Meryl White and Charlie Davis of USA took the gold! They are physically such a contrasting couple that it makes it so fun to watch them. Plus she reminds me for Disney Princess Jasmine from “Aladdin.” Russia’s Elena Ilinykh and Nikita Katsalapov took bronze.
USA two-man bobsled team of Steven Holcomb and Steven Langton took the bronze. This is the first Olympic medal in the event in sixty two years!
Men’s and women’s curling lost again.
My favorite event starts tonight.. well only my favorite event because Lolo Jones will be competing. As a collegiate hurdler, she is my absolute favorite! I can’t wait to see her compete for gold in the winter Olympics this time around!
